Grants- Employment Skill Building

The Autism Society Oakland County will be awarding Employment Skill Building grants to teachers and ancillary staff working with high school and post-secondary students who have an ASD eligibility. 


The guidelines are as follows:
• Grants will be made in amounts ranging from $500 to $1,000.
We are looking for impactful and innovative initiatives that will promote employment outcomes for students.
• The only exception to the $500 minimum will be requests for workshop and seminar entrance fees.
• Grant moneys must be spent by March 1, 2013. Funding is expected to benefit students during the 2012 – 2013 school year.
• Receipts will be required to document all purchases. Receipts must be submitted by March 31, 2013 and be equal to or exceed the amount of the grant.
